| Today was a busy night for BRVFC volunteers and duty crew.
Just before shift BRVFC along with UPT Fire and Emergency Services were dispatched to a vehicle accident at the intersection of Black Rock Rd. & S. Collegeville Rd. Crews arrived on scene with a 2 vehicle accident. Crews cleared debris and put oil dry down for fluid in the roadway while Engine 68-2 Trappe Fire Company provided blocking and traffic control.
Just as crews were clearing the first accident they were alerted to another accident at Township Line Rd. & Ridge Pike. Engine 68 and Engine 68-2 crew responded to that scene.
As companies were responding to that incident another call came in for a fire alarm at Parkhouse Engine 68-1 responded along with Royersford Fire Department (98) and Phoenixville Fire Department (65). Crews discovered the alarm was set off by a battery cell phone malfunction.
After 3 back to back to back calls. BRVFC wrapped up their night at Providence Circle for a fundraiser that was put on by the neighbors there to support the fire company. Neighbors there cooked and sold a special dish called Pani puri. While their members talked with neighbors and showed all the kids and adults the fire truck. We would like to thank Alpen Shah, his family, and all the neighbors that helped organize this event and came out and donated in support of the fire company. This is a greatly appreciated gesture and we thank you all! |
