BRVFC respond to reported dwelling fire

At approximately 8:20PM BRVFC along with mutual aid companies were dispatched to the 300 block of Perkiomen Ave. for a reported dwelling fire. Tower 68-1 with the Assistant and duty crew responded. Deputy 68-1 arrived on scene with nothing showing and had Tower 68-1 crew go to basement and 1st in Engine (E68-1) report to the rear of the dwelling. Crews determine there to be a possible issue with the heating unit and advised the homeowner to contact a service company. All companies were clear and available after 45 mins.
