At approximately 11:44PM BRVFC along with multiple mutual aid companies responded to a house fire on Wheat Sheaf Way. Chief 99 arrived on scene with heavy smoke in the basement and assumed command. Engine 53s crew stretched a line to the basement and was assisted by Tower 99 and Engine 65-1. Crews found fire in the walls and ceiling above them. Engine 99-1 assisted with basement crews in pulling ceiling to extinguish the fire. Additional crews checked 1st, 2nd floors and attic area for extension. Crews were on scene for about 4 hours. Fire is still under investigation.
