Vehicle Accident 422 EB

At approximately 10:07PM BRVFC along with Collegeville Fire Company (34) were dispatched to 422 EB MM 187.0 for an accident with injuries. While units were enroute County dispatch advise that someone was now trapped in an overturned vehicle and correct location was 422 EB MM 185.3. With the assignment getting upgraded Royersford Fire Department (98) was dispatched as well. Chief 99 arrived on scene to find 1 vehicle flipped over blocking both lanes with patient out of vehicle getting treated by EMS. EMS requested an air lift for the patient bringing in Penn Star. Assignment was held to Squad 99 and Squad 34. Squad 99 handled LZ for helicopter with crews from 34 and 99 assisting in cleanup. Fire police shut down 422 at RT29 while crews operated at scene. 422 was shut down for about 2 hours. Patient was transported by air to Penn Presbyterian. PSP are investigating the accident.
