At approximately 12:13PM BRVFC was dispatched with Tower 99 on the 2nd Alarm assignment to assist Lower Providence Fire Department (53) at a building fire.

Tower 99 with a crew of 5 responded and were assigned to put their Towers master stream in service with UPT Fire & Emergency Services Engine 93 supplying them with water. Crews were on scene for about 5 hours working to extinguish the fire.

Due to the difficult conditions all the first
responders faced at this incident. BRVFC would like to take the time to thank all that worked the incident with such comradery. With big incidents like this it’s pulls companies/agencies from all over the county sometimes from different counties. There were many companies there today that BRVFC does not get to work with on a daily bases. The teamwork that was displayed today shows how well trained and able to adapt all first responders are.
