It is with deep sadness the Black Rock Volunteer Fire Company announces the passing of Life Member Frank Michener on Sunday March 5, 2023. Frank joined the Oaks Fire Company in 1957 and served many years in executive positions most notably as Treasurer. The officers and members of the company extend their sincere condolences to sons John and Robert and the entire Michener Family.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service on Saturday, March 11, 2023, at 11:00 am at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 126 Black Rock Road, Oaks, PA 19456. Officiating will be the Reverend Samuel Kirabi Ndungu. Interment will follow in the Church cemetery. Friends will be received from 9:45 am - 10:45 am at the Church. Memorial contributions may be made in Frank's name to St. Paul's Episcopal Church at the address above or to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741.
