Just after 7:00 PM BRVFC and other mutual aid companies were dispatched to the 200 block of Bridge Street for a reported stove fire. Chief 68 arrived and reported an active kitchen fire in the rear of the dwelling. Phoenixville Fire Department Rescue 65 and Squad 68-1 arrived simultaneously. Rescue 65 pulled a line to the rear and secured a water source. Squad 68-1 crew assisted with extinguishing the fire and checking for extension of 2nd floor. A quick knock of the fire and job well done by all crews.
