Last evening just after 8:30 PM Black Rock and Collegeville Fire Companies were dispatched to a car fire eastbound on Route 422 just east on the Oaks interchange. Upper Providence Police arrived and confirmed a vehicle to be fully involved. Squad, Engine & Engine 99-1 arrived and quickly extinguished the fire. There were no injuries and units cleared the highway within an hour. CFC Squad 34 and PA State Police also responded.
