December 28, 2021

At approximately 1:02PM BRVFC, UPT DFES, Squad 34 (Collegeville FD), and Lower Providence EMS were dispatched to a vehicle rescue, on Mill Rd at the entrance to Target.

Units arrived to find the sole occupant of the Jeep unable to exit the vehicle safely. All occupants of the other vehicle were able to self extricate. Crews from Engine 68 and Squad 68-1 used struts to stabilize the vehicle and oil dry to contain leaking fluids, preventing them from entering a nearby storm drain.

The patient was helped out of the vehicle, once it was safe to do so, and turned over to EMS. Once the vehicles and debris was cleared from the roadway units went available.
UPPD and Upper Merion EMS also assisted at the scene.
