Firefighters Respond to Trash Truck Fire |

At approximately 6:00 this evening the BRVFC and Engine 65 (Phoenixville Fire Department) were dispatched to a reported electrical fire outside on the 700 block of Port Providence Road. While responding Montgomery County Communications Center alerted Chief 99 that a trash truck was entangled in electrical wires and was on fire. Engine 99-1, Squad 99, and Engine 65 setup two handlines, waited for Peco to secure the down power lines, then extinguished the fire. |
