BRVFC Responds to car fire 422

At approximately 10:14PM BRVFC was dispatched to 422 WB for a vehicle fire. Chief 98 arrived on scene with 1 vehicle on the shoulder well involved. Squad 99 arrived and extinguished the fire. BRVFC Responds to Gas Leak at Expo Center

At approximately 8:54PM BRVFC was dispatched to The Greater Philadelphia Expo Center for a Gas Leak Outside. Chief, Engine & Squad 99 all responded along with Squad 53 from Lower Providence Fire Department. Upon arrival crews found a smell of gas by the gas meters outside of the building. No Caption Passing of President/Deputy Chief Jim Callahan

President and Deputy Chief Jim Callahan lost his long battle with kidney cancer on Saturday, March 20th at the Hospice Center at Bryn Mawr Hospital. Jim was dedicated to his family and leaves behind three sons.

March 21

At approximately 3:53AM BRVFC was dispatched to an accident with injuries on 422 WB just before the Collegeville exit. Engine 99-1 arrived on scene with 1 vehicle off into the woods. A second vehicle involved in the crash was up the road further from original accident scene. Engine 99-1 advised Squad 34 to check on that vehicle.
