During Twp Training crews from 68 UPTFES, 68-1 BRVFC, 34 Collegeville Fire Company, and 77 Trappe Fire Company trained on high-angle rescue using Tower 68-1 and the rope rescue equipment from E77. The crew simulated a rescue from a 5th-floor window at the new apartment complex beside Wegmans. Busy 12 hours for BRVFC

September 23

It was a busy 12 hours for BRVFC and UPTFES, responding to 4 calls for service.

The first call came in at 6:17 PM for a water flow alarm at 5 Brower Ave. Engine 68-1 arrived on the scene with nothing showing and a water flow alarm going off. The cause of the alarm was a malfunctioning riser.

August 15

Just after 7:00 PM BRVFC and other mutual aid companies were dispatched to the 200 block of Bridge Street for a reported stove fire. Chief 68 arrived and reported an active kitchen fire in the rear of the dwelling. Phoenixville Fire Department Rescue 65 and Squad 68-1 arrived simultaneously.
