BRVFC Respond to Gas Leak Inside
February 28
At approximately 12:24PM BRVFC along with multiple mutual aid companies responded to the 5 Below in Providence Town Center for a gas leak inside. Tower 99 responded with a crew of 4 and was assigned to the D side of the building to check the AC/Heater units on the roof. BRVFC Responds to Dwelling Fire in Lower Providence
February 20
At approximately 6:59 AM BRVFC responded to assist Lower Providence Fire Department with a reported dwelling fire. While enroute Command reported there was active fire behind the wall of an electrical outlet that was smoking. Engine 99-1 arrived as 4th due Engine and was assigned to RIT. A winter storm warning is now in effect. Expected snowfall totals are 12-18" with the majority of the snow falling tomorrow. If you don't have to go out please stay home and be safe.

Firefighters Respond to Trash Truck Fire
January 12
At approximately 6:00 this evening the BRVFC and Engine 65 (Phoenixville Fire Department) were dispatched to a reported electrical fire outside on the 700 block of Port Providence Road. While responding Montgomery County Communications Center alerted Chief 99 that a trash truck was entangled in electrical wires and was on fire. Water Rescue Response

At approximately 1:12PM BRVFC was dispatched for a Water Rescue at Produce Junction on Bridge St. for a report of a capsized kayaker in the Schuylkill River. Squad and Tac 99 both responded and were directed to stage at 99B. ATV 99 responded and checked along the trails by Fitzwater Station.
