ATV68-1 Just Got a Major Upgrade!

We're excited to share that ATV68-1 has recently been outfitted with a cutting-edge 360° vehicle-mounted thermal imaging camera! This powerful system can detect and track heat signatures from up to 1,375 yards away, making it an incredible asset for Search and Rescue, Wildland Firefighting, and Water Rescue operations.

Lower Providence Brush Fire
March 14
BRVFC was dispatched to assist Lower Providence at a brush fire in the area of Valley Lane and Nester Drive. ATV68-1 and Engine 68-1 responded and assisted with fire attack and water supply. Black Rock Volunteer Fire Company's thoughts and prayers are with Vice President Judd Strauss and his family as they mourn the loss of Barbara J. Strauss, their beloved mother and grandmother.

Phoenixville PD loses one of their own

The Phoenixville Police Department shared the sad news of Officer Arthur “Art” Scena IV's passing on Oct. 28. Art had been a dedicated member of the Police force since 2019 and served in law enforcement for 14 years. He tragically lost his life in a crash while returning home from a fellow officer's funeral.
