Building Fire Response to Graphic Packaging
March 20
At approximately 6:44 PM BRVFC, UPT Fire & Emergency Services, and Trappe Fire Company along with mutual aid were dispatched to Graphic Packaging for a reported fire in the warehouse.
Units arrived on scene with fire out with no extension. Assignment was held to 68 units and Ladder 65. Crews were clear after 20 mins.

Passing of Life Member Frank Michener, Jr.
March 10
It is with deep sadness the Black Rock Volunteer Fire Company announces the passing of Life Member Frank Michener on Sunday March 5, 2023. Frank joined the Oaks Fire Company in 1957 and served many years in executive positions most notably as Treasurer. The officers and members of the company extend their sincere condolences to sons John and Robert and the entire Michener Family.

BRVFC Duty Crew Answers 2 Calls
February 11
Last night BRVFC Duty Crew handled 2 calls.
The first call came in just as the crew was grabbing dinner at 7:21 PM for a report of an odor of something burning in the residents. Assistant 68-1 arrived on scene along with Engine 68-1. Crews had an odor that was contributed to burnt food from the next door neighbor.

We say goodbye to Tac 68-1
February 02
Today we said goodbye to TAC 68-1. This mini pumper was purchased new in 2014 and ran out of the Mont Clare Station until 2020 when it was moved to the Oaks Station. This truck was very versatile and functional, capable of operating as a pumper, field piece, or water rescue support vehicle. Garage Fire
January 20
At approximately 9:58 AM BRVFC and UPT Fire & Emergency Services along with mutual aid were dispatched to a reported garage fire.
Deputy 68 arrived on scene with fire showing from the garage. Engine 68 arrived as first due Engine and pulled a hose line. Tower 68-1 arrived as 2nd due ladder. Towers crew did a search of the first floor and basement, laddered the dwelling and secured utilities to the ... (Full Story & Photos)
